NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of our college continues to serve as a vibrant platform for students to engage in community service, personal development, and nation-building. Through a range of thoughtfully planned regular activities, our volunteers strive to make a meaningful impact both within and outside the campus.

Throughout the academic year, the NSS unit has undertaken numerous initiatives including campus cleanliness drives under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, awareness campaigns on issues such as environmental conservation, blood donation, road safety, voter awareness, Organ Donation awareness, even focus on gender discrimination awareness and health & hygiene. Weekly meetings were held to encourage discussions on social issues and to plan future activities with student participation at the core.

Volunteers actively participated in tree plantation programs, visits to orphanages and old age homes, and street plays addressing pressing social concerns. Special attention was given to promoting digital literacy and health awareness in nearby rural areas, fostering a sense of responsibility and empathy among the students.

The consistent enthusiasm and commitment of NSS volunteers have not only helped in uplifting communities but also in building leadership, teamwork, and civic sense among the youth. With the motto "Not Me, But You", the NSS unit remains dedicated to its mission of creating socially responsible citizens.
