Minutes of College Development Committee

Academic Year: 2024-2025

The meeting of the members of the College Development Committee was scheduled on Monday, the 6th Jan 2025 at 11 am in the premises of the college. The following members were present for the meeting:

Resolutions Passed

  1. To Read & Confirm the minutes of the last meeting
    Resolution No. 1: The Minutes of the College Development Committee were read by Dr. Uttam Kadam, Principal of the college, and confirmed by the members present.
  2. To increase Budget for co-cultural activities, sports & NSS activities
    Resolution No. 2: It was resolved to sanction an amount of Rs. 10,000 for co-cultural activities, sports & NSS activities.
  3. To purchase sound system for classrooms for lectures & NSS T-shirt
    Resolution No. 3: It was resolved to sanction Rs. 35,000/- for sound system for classrooms and Rs. 27,500/- for NSS T-shirts.
  4. Result Records for A.Y. 2024-25

    The Admission record of UG Students for A.Y. 2024-25 presented before the members was acknowledged.

    Response in UG Admission: Good.

    While overall response is good, members suggested finding ways to increase admissions in Self-Finance Courses.

    Plan of Action for Extra Guest Lecture: College has planned an NSS camp from 18th January 2025.

    Submission of AQAR for A.Y. 2024-2025:
    The IQAC Co-ordinator Prof. Rafik A. Parmar gave a brief review of AQAR preparation.
    The process of data collection has been initiated.
    Committee suggested not to hurry in uploading the data.
    Criteria heads will scrutinize the data accordingly.

  5. To sanction scholarships for poor and corona-affected students
    Resolution No. 5: It was resolved to sanction scholarship for 60 students amounting to Rs. 1,20,000/- (Rs. 2,000/- per student) for poor and corona-affected students on the basis of their applications for Management Scholarship.
